Allegro String Quartet
The Allegro String Quartet has been active in the Harrisbrug, Pennsylvania region since 1996, and performs as a Resident Concert Artist with the Wednesday Club.
Our members draw on a wealth of professional and personal experiences, including 20 years with the United States Air Force Band, solo recitals, and many years of performing internationally, around the U.S., and nearby in Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, Baltimore, and Washington D.C.
Individual members can now be heard regularly performing with the York Symphony Orchestra, the West Shore Symphony Orchestra, the Shippensburg University-Community Orchestra; and accompanying the Harrisburg Choral Society, the Susquehana Chorale, Cantate Carlisle, and Harrisburg Opera and Theatre Harrisburg’s musical productions. In addition, all maintain private teaching studios.
